IIQE Past Papers: Do They Exist? What to Use
Updated
As at 31 Oct 2026, no IIQE past papers are published: the Insurance Authority publishes the syllabus and study notes for each paper, and the exam questions themselves are not released. Anything sold as "IIQE past papers" or "real questions" is either recalled exam content or someone's own practice questions with a misleading label.
Why recalled questions are a bad idea
- They are often wrong: a remembered question rarely keeps its exact wording or options.
- They go stale when the study notes change, and nobody tells you which ones did.
- Memorising answers does not teach you to apply a principle to new facts, which is what the paper tests.
What to use instead
- The current study notes for your paper: the exam is set from them.
- Original practice questions with worked explanations that cite their source. Every IIQE Prep question is original, written to the public syllabus; none is a past or recalled question.
- Full timed mocks at the real length and pass mark, then a review of every miss.

Are IIQE past papers available?
No past papers are published for the IIQE. The study notes and syllabus are the published materials. Anything sold as 'past papers' or 'real questions' is either recalled content or a third party's own questions.
Are IIQE Prep's questions past papers?
No. Every question is original, written to the public syllabus and checked against the cited source, with a worked explanation. We never use recalled exam questions.
